This refined Eastern European textile features a classic central floral medallion composition set against a rich blue field. The design is framed by a soft ivory border decorated with scrolling botanical vines and stylized blossoms. Characteristic of Bessarabian weaving, the palette blends muted blues, warm creams, soft rose, sage green, and subtle golden tones, creating an elegant and decorative presence. Unlike pile rugs, this piece is flat woven, giving it a tapestry like texture and lighter profile. The artistry reflects strong European influence combined with regional folk interpretation. A graceful and decorative antique suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors. See less
