Antique Oak Coat Rack - Beveled Mirror - Marble - Renaissance Style - 19th Century
Superb 19th-century wall-mounted coat rack in solid oak, richly molded and carved. Complete model with oval beveled mirror, brass hooks, marble shelf, and integrated lower cabinet.
Detailed
Solid oak structure with a beautiful honey to golden brown patina.
Arched pediment with molded decoration and a central medallion, surmounted by two small turned finials.
Oval beveled mirror, framed with moldings and spandrels carved with vegetal decoration.
Six double brass hooks (three on each side), ideal for coats, hats, or bags.
Brass side bars that serve as umbrella stands or additional supports.
Central marble shelf (pinkish beige with veining), perfect for trinkets.
Drawer beneath the shelf.
Lower section closed by a door with an antique lock and key.
The back panel is stamped “Modèle Déposé P.M.” (Registered Design P.M.), indicating that the design was protected at the time.
