This piece is firmly rooted in the early 20th-century French wrought iron aesthetic, but more "neo-rustic/revival" than pure geometric Art Deco of the 1925–35 period. Style and Period • Three-arm wrought iron wall sconce, decorated with hammered scrolls and leaves, with a rust/brown patina, typical of French ironwork around 1910–30 (countryside, castles, bourgeois residences). • The design remains very curved and naturalistic, closer to late Art Nouveau and the "country" style than to the straight lines, zigzags, and stylized motifs of strict Parisian Art Deco.
