These stylish pieces were … Read more Wonderful and very rare pair of square-shaped ceramic ashtrays in the iconic glazed “rimini blu” color. These stylish pieces were produced by bitossi in italy during the 1960s. The ashtray are signed on the bottom. Fully original and in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. The ashtrays feature the signature vibrant turquoise glaze with green nuances, enriched by londi’s distinctive hand-engraved geometric motifs and textured patterns, creating a beautifully dynamic surface. The set includes two different sizes, each with a square form and integrated cigarette rests. The larger example offers multiple rests and a bold architectural presence, while the smaller one echoes the same decorative language in a more compact proportion. The way the glaze shifts between deep blue and emerald tones is incredibly captivating, enhancing the sculptural quality of each piece.
