An impressive table lamp in the space age style, manufactured in east germany (gdr) in the 1970s.
the distinctive, sculptural base in intense red wooden discs with chrome spacers creates a striking, modernist form. The whole is crowned with a large, spherical shade made of frosted glass, which gives off a soft, diffused light.
