An authentic 1965 first-year production Siesta chair designed by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, Norway.
This iconic Scandinavian lounge chair is one of the most recognized forms in Mid-Century Modern design — held in museum collections worldwide.
This example includes:
• Original Westnofa tag
• Original “Siesta” paperwork
• Solid bentwood frame in very good structural condition
• Original leather cushions with beautiful natural patina
The leather shows age-appropriate fading and character consistent with a 1965 original — no reupholstery, no reproduction parts.
The bentwood frame remains tight and strong.
This is not a later mass-production example — this is an early, collectible piece from the first year of release.
A true Scandinavian design classic.
