The piece features a 1.5" single plank top resting above four legs adjoined by end, center and a middle Y form stretcher. The stretchers exhibit mortise and tenon joinery which is a foundational, ancient, woodworking technique used to connect two pieces of wood. This 19th Century Spanish Oak Console Table with its light color and aged patina, will be a conversation piece when placed behind a sofa or in an entryway in all interior styles.
