A relatively large German Neoclassical Revival porcelain urn, Dresden/Thuringia region, c. 1880–1910, in the French Sèvres Revival style.

Standing an impressive 15 inches high, urn features two framed decorative panels, each depicting 'putti' (small figures) in a classical setting. Gold ram’s‑head handles anchor the sides, adding sculptural presence. The rim at top and lower body area are finished with cut‑out leaf‑form borders, while the base is encircled with a gold gilt beaded band, adding texture and depth to the design. Urn, as a symbol of taste and refinement, would have originally served as a decorative piece on a mantel, console or étagères, etc., all of which would be great areas to place urn today. Its scale, color, and classical motifs make it a compelling statement piece for interiors ranging from traditional to eclectic.
