Dali, salvatore (1904–1989) two color lithographs on bfk rives vellum paper. Wood engravings signed in the plate. They are part of the series "the divine comedy," published by joseph foret and les heures claires. Illustrated by dali, this series is a landmark in publishing and one of the master's most celebrated works. It required the engraving of over 3,500 woodblocks and nearly four years of work (starting in 1960) to capture the full finesse of dali's illustrations.
