Since opening in 1927, the Hotel Principe di Savoia — known simply as “The Principe” — has been one of Milan’s grandest addresses. Its guestbook reads like a who’s who, from Charlie Chaplin to Elizabeth Taylor and it even appeared on screen in Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere.
