The lamp features a cylindrical, layered shade made of ribbon-like, synthetic material in vibrant shades of orange, red and pink, combined with brushed aluminium rings.

the internal lower part of the lamp serves as a diffuser and softens the light and distributes it evenly, while the coloured outer shade creates a warm, ambient glow. The brushed metal elements contrast the fabric and enchance the space age look of the italian 1970s.

the lamp is signed with the original targetti sankey label. Targetti sankey was one of the key italian lighting manufacturers, known for combining innovative materials with refined industrial design.
