This rare set of six (6) professional-grade entomology display cases was sourced directly from the storied collection of the UC Berkeley Museum. These are authentic "California Academy" style drawers, the gold standard for scientific preservation.
Crafted from solid wood with lock-mitered corners and single-strength glass tops, each case features the original brass label holder and finger-pull hardware. Of particular interest to collectors are the original "UC" and "CIS" (California Insect Survey) branded stamps found on the frames, providing impeccable provenance to one of the most important insect surveys in North American history.
