Ashly Fine Rugs presents a 2000s Vintage Kasmiri all-silk handmade rug. The origin of carpet weaving in Kashmir can be traced back to the 15th century when Sultan Zainul Abidin (popularly known as Budshah) brought some Persian craftsmen to the valley and trained locals in the art and craftsmanship. This rug is made from 100% silk and is entirely handwoven. Despite its age, this Kashmiri Rug is in excellent condition with a healthy pile and without any damage or repair.
