Talat … Read more This fine example of original abstract impressionism is a magnificent acrylic painting by the renown Egyptian artist, Mohamed Khedr. Talat Harb Square is a street scene in Cairo, Egypt where the Egyptian Uprising of 2011 was born. Khedr, influenced by the impressionists and their European motifs, decided to depict Cairo in a similar manner, all the while adding his own spin to his formal educational understanding of Impressionism. This piece will become the centerpiece of your home and would be best on a wall with high ceilings. "Talat Harb Square" measures 155cm x 155cm or approximately 61" x 61". It is framed in gold with a classic style upholstered mat.

Mohamed Khedr lives in Egypt with his family and is a regular on the regional and international exhibition circuit. Khedr is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts (Set-design Department), Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt (1993). He holds a Graduate Diploma in Folk Art, Arts Academy (1995), has an MA in Higher Studies program in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, and has a second MA in Visual Arts from Accademia d'Arte, Florence, Italy. Since graduation, he has worked in the fields of computer graphics, décor, photography, and as a professional artist. See less
