Titled "May Dance" if features three joyous and … Read more Stunning 1920s figurine designed by Karl Tutter for Lorenz Hutshenreuther Porzellan, Germany. Titled "May Dance" if features three joyous and jubilant young girls dancing with hands held together in a form in which they are mutually dependent on the others for balance. The figurine has exception detail of movement and oozes the emotional moment shared by its figures. The consistent white high fired color accentuate s the emotion and movement expressed by allow the viewer to focus on details through shade and light.

This exceptional piece is 9" tall and 8.5" in diameter. . . .almost massive as these things go. It is signed under-glaze at base and has its original stickers in place as well. Please see listing pics.

This exemplar of the figurine does however have one change from its original condition. This is highlighted in the final photo in the listing. . . . .and that is that the girl with the pigtail originally had two(2) pigtails. The second pigtail on this exemplar has been lost to time. Maybe that matters to you. . . maybe it does not. It took me months to notice and still the absence does not impress my at all.

The is an exception work of art which uplifts any environment it blesses.
