This 290-page hardcover … moreHere's a very good copy of the 1890s version of 'The Little Minister' by James M. Barrie. This 290-page hardcover is illustrated with photos from the Play version of the book. The play, starring Maude Adams, was first performed in 1897. So, although the book is copyrighted 1892, it was likely published in 1898. The book is in good antique condition - as if unread. Some of the deckled pages, on heavy paper, are uncut. So the former owner who penned her name on the inside front cover, may not have read the book. The book hinge is loose, at back, but there you will find a handsome. San Francisco bookstore stamp. Besides the uncut pages (at production) I found a chip on the bottom of page xlii of the James M.Barrie Literary Portrait, up front. The text and the photos are clean, bright and unmarked. The cover is a bit worn, as expected, with some fraying at the spine. I've earlier listed another copy of 'The Little Minister' - only the larger, Maude Adams version. There need be no competition between the two books.- perhaps,because they are at home in different settings.This book will be sent, carefully packed, with tracking. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
