The viewer can imagine a peaceful stroll on a sun speckled path with yellow and white pansies and greenery all around. Signed on the left lower portion of the piece:
"E. Baudoux
1904."
Emile Baudoux (1850 - 1929) was a French artist known for painting landscapes and flowers. The frame adds an elegant finish.

Painting alone: 28" Wide x 20.75" High

There is a wire across the back, so this piece is ready to be displayed.

There is some natural wear to the frame, especially around the edges and corners, that has happened over time. Faint cracks are apparent on the frame in the corners, as shown in the photos. The patina has different grades of coloration. If I have missed something in my inspection of the piece, please contact me. Antique items have been previously owned and loved, and will show some level of wear consistent with this prior use.
