Vibrant red geraniums take center stage in this early 20th century still life. The viewer can imagine a peaceful stroll on a sun speckled path with yellow and white pansies and greenery all around. Signed on the left lower portion of the piece:
"E. Baudoux
1904."
Emile Baudoux (1850 - 1929) was a French artist known for painting landscapes and flowers. The frame adds an elegant finish.

Painting alone: 28" Wide x 20.75" High
There is a wire across the back, so this piece is ready to be displayed.

There is some natural wear to the frame, especially around the edges and corners, that has happened over time. Faint cracks are apparent on the frame in the corners, as shown in the photos.
