Maria Anna Angelika Kauffmann (30 October 1741 – 5 November 1807), usually known in English as Angelica Kauffman, was a Swiss Neoclassical painter who had a successful career in London and Rome. Remembered primarily as a history painter, Kauffmann was a skilled portraitist, landscape and decoration painter. She was, along with Mary Moser, one of two female painters among the founding members of the Royal Academy in London in 1768.

Item condition: On one side of the teapot there is a hairline crack that runs from the top left side to the Angelica Kauffmann painting and then goes up to the right, like a V, in the middle of the V there is a flaw, and in the end of the top right the hairline crack it's still visible and finishes with a small chip out of the rim. There is another hairline crack on the bottom too. A glazing flaw out of the rim on the spout. Some faded surfaces. Minor stains inside. Some scratching on the gold. Condition is appropriate for age and use. See photos for complete assessment.
