He … Read more Darrell Crisp was a 20thC California Painter, Sculptor & Illustrator. He studied at the San Francisco Academy of Art. He exhibited at Gumps Gallery, the Hollis Gallery, and Museum shows in California beginning in the 1960’s during the Golden Era of West Coast Abstraction. The noted San Francisco Chronicle art critic Alfred Frankenstein once wrote about Crisps work, “his colors are light and bright and he has a genius for the moment an organic form becomes an abstraction...Colors are his forte, his judgement is almost unerring” See less
