I got carried away by the soul music I was listening to and started making long continuous strokes with vine charcoal emphasizing how long and slender were the shapes of the holder and how sensual the curves. And then added the other shapes with paint and painted papers, delineated with charcoal lines. The yellow is actually a remnant of a digital print I made and expresses the light above.

The composition created itself and its own energy...gliding and popping in and out spatially with warm and cool colors.

Size of the paper is 22 x 15 inches.
