Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug With Deep Blue Geometric Medallions on an Ivory Field. Keivan Woven Arts / rug EN-165347, country of origin / type: Turkey / Oushak, circa 1940.
Vintage Turkish Oushak rug characterized by a crisp and harmonious composition of cool-toned hues, prominently featuring a series of bold geometric medallions rendered in rich denim blue, steel blue, and sky blue. These medallions float elegantly against a soft ivory field, giving the rug a clean, balanced, and grounded aesthetic.
The surrounding border is filled with stylized tribal motifs in shades of blue, arranged symmetrically and bordered by delicate serrated patterns. Accents of faded indigo and pale slate blue are interspersed throughout the border and field, adding subtle dimension and visual rhythm. The medallions' structured design is softened by the gentle color palette, making the rug equally suited for contemporary and traditional interiors.
