This ochre Chris Davis functional pitcher is from an estate in Ohio. It was most likely purchased between 1972-1984 when the pottery was being made in connection with the Canton Institute of Art.
In 1984 Chris Davis opened The Pottery Shop in Perkins Cove located in York Harbor in Maine. Her functional high-fire pottery is still being made and sold through Perkins Cove Pottery Shop in Ogunquit, Maine.
Her functional pottery is collected by fans across the country.
The Pottery is lead-free, ovenproof and may be used in a microwave oven and washed in a dishwasher. It is recommended to avoid extreme temperature changes.
