Serab antique runner from Persia with medallion design in earthy color palette, Keivan Woven Arts / rug en-176214, country of origin / type: Iran / Serab, circa 1910.
This antique Serab runner is adorned with geometric-style medallions. Beautifully drawn ivory borders feature a stylized design. This rug is woven on a wool foundation and has a soft, pliable handle, typical of the earlier Serab rugs. The articulation of its motifs is excellent and this particular piece features beautiful color quality.
