This is a striking dining room cabinet by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture. This piece is part of his Far East Collection (1949-1960s), exemplifying a blend of Asian influence and clean, modern aesthetics often found in his work.
It features a softly sculptural case with three open display compartments with a single glass shelf and lighting in each, above three drawers and three cabinet sections with Interior shelving offering generous storage. A refined, architectural piece with timeless modern presence.
The piece is in very good vintage condition. Light cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, including minor surface marks and small finish imperfections. The piece is heavy duty and structurally sound. The drawers and doors are a little hard to open. The piece presents beautifully overall.
