this piece appears hand-executed rather than a print. Close-up photographs show brush application, with subtle surface texture and slight relief of the black passages. The pigment sits on the paper surface rather than forming a uniform printed ink layer, and no halftone pattern, plate edge or other printing characteristics are evident.

the inscription at lower right appears hand executed (hand signed), applied in a similar black medium to the composition.
