There are no fixed shapes here, just perpetual movement, a chaos of colors that collide and respond to each other. Deep blue, incandescent red, bursts of yellow and green emerge from the shadows, swirling, colliding and merging. with Chu Teh-Chun, tumult is never disorderly. As in his storm-inspired canvases, he captures the tipping point, that fragile moment when equilibrium is disturbed, when matter rises before falling again.
