This 19th-century tabletop bronze sculpture titled Un Accident captures a moment of innocent confusion through the detailed depiction of a barefoot boy in rustic clothing, scratching his head.
The sculpture is signed C. Anfrie and bears the Vrai Bronze Garanti. Paris. BL foundry seal.
Created by Charles Anfrie (1833–1905), a Catalan sculptor known for his expressive bronze works.
The warm brown patina enhances the texture and lifelike quality of the figure.
