Eight-drawer plan chest constructed in two stackable sections. Each drawer designed for flat storage of large format papers, prints, or plans. Dovetail jointed drawers with solid wood framework. Original brass cup handles and label holders throughout. Panelled sides rather than plain boards.
The two-section construction allows for easier transport and positioning. Black top surface with aged brass hardware showing natural patina development. Framework has aged to varied tones across the piece.
Drawers slide smoothly on their original runners. Sections stack together with a stable join.
