Rare work by Cornelio Geranzani It may take approximately 30/40 days for this work to be exported. Cornelio Geranzani Born in Genoa on March 23, 1880, died there on October 18, 1955. An artist who studied every technical, chromatic, and intellectual problem of modern painting. His first style, after the traditional one, was pointillism. After this experience, while maintaining intact the characteristic geometric taste of the forms, Cornelio Geranzani suppressed the superfluous to compose with essential lines and harmonies of a few hues. Intense colors, blue, red and yellow, simplifying the masses into full, flat hues. The most significant stages of his long pictorial career are fixed by the exhibitions held in Genoa, Padua, Venice (Biennale), Milan, Rome, London, Glasgow and Lausanne, as well as by the most important personal exhibitions (Galleria Bollardi, Milan, 1917; Palazzo Rosso, Genoa, 1932). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
