The lower section is a fairly straightforward cabinet with subtle decorative carvings, featuring two doors and a large lockable drawer—a classic cabinet with plenty of storage space.

The attractive, delicate construction makes this piece a real eye-catcher.

What's particularly special, however, is the interior design—the shelves were removed at some point and a clothes rail was installed. The entire interior has been painted a dark color.

The new purpose isn't entirely clear to us, as the cabinet isn't deep enough for clothes hangers (at least not for adults ;) ), but since the shelves are missing (the brackets are there – it could easily be converted back with 83cm x 31cm shelves), we've completed it with a practical fabric organizer with four compartments, making it a handy hallway wardrobe ;)

The condition is quite good for its age – significant veneer loss around the base (see photos) and the burl wood fronts are quite light (from sunlight).

Nevertheless, this cabinet is a beautiful, original, nostalgic piece!
