Fan Lamp by Lucia Caprioglio – Painted Acrylic glass on Rice Paper – One-of-a-kind Signed Piece
This sculptural fan lamp was created by Turin-based artist Lucia Caprioglio in the 2000s, a contemporary artist known for her poetic language and innovative use of painted rice paper applied to Plexiglas. This unique piece, entirely handmade and signed by the artist, is composed of shaped Plexiglas elements arranged in a fan shape. The back is decorated with rice paper painting, a signature Caprioglio technique that creates effects of transparency, depth, and vibrant colors. The internal light enhances the textures and colors, transforming the lamp into a luminous object with a strong visual impact, halfway between sculpture and installation.
