Orient is made of clear lacquered copper and has a conical top of rosewood. The lampshade has several narrow gaps that allow streaks of light to seep out. The shape of the shade hides the lightbulb and prevents glare. The naturally dark veining of the rosewood provides an attractive transition to a black fabric-covered cord. Orient Copper is created from exclusive materials, the combination of the rounded shape of the shade and the warm copper tone gives a warm and comfortable glow that looks good in many rooms. Orient has become a true design classic over the years and is equally suitable for hanging alone or in group settings. Jo Hammerborg was a renowned Danish designer known for his talent in lighting design, and his works are sought after for their simple elegance and functionality. The Ultra lamp exudes a timeless design and will add a touch of retro elegance to any room. This one is in very good original condition with only few slight signs of wear due to its age.
