Set of six white moulded polypropylene chairs with chrome sled bases, designed by Robin Day for Hille. The contoured shells are paired with sled base construction rather than the more common four-leg Polyside variant. All chairs retain original embossed "Made in Britain - Robin Day Design - Hille" marks confirming mid-1960s production.
The sled base design was manufactured for interior and contract settings where the architectural profile and stability were prioritised over stacking functionality.
