A sculptural pair of magnetic table lamps in the typical space age design of the 1970s. The spherical lamp heads are magnetically mounted in the cylindrical base and can be freely adjusted, allowing for precise light direction. Made of glossy lacquered metal in a rare chinese red color with a dark internal reflector. The compact, heavy construction and the bold color scheme reflect the design trends of italian lighting production of that era. An inline cord switch and period-correct electrical markings complete the authentic look.
condition: good to very good original condition with minor age-related wear to the lacquer. Electrical components are functional.
