Ericsson in 1956, it revolutionized telephony with its world's first "all-in-one" design: the rotary dial and speaker unit are combined in a single, sculptural casing. This particular example is striking in its vibrant red, one of the most sought-after colors for collectors and enthusiasts of the Space Age style. The curved body, made of glossy plastic, still feels surprisingly ergonomic in the hand. The telephone is complemented by its original gray cord, which provides a beautiful color contrast to the bright casing. A particularly clever technical feature: the rotary dial is located on the underside of the device, along with the "snap" switch, which automatically ends the call as soon as the telephone is placed on a table. An absolute must-have for any retro collection or as an extravagant eye-catcher on your desk. See less
