Elegant pair of French Louis XVI wall sconces dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
Beautifully cast in gilt bronze with classic decorative elements: ribbon bows at the top, finely detailed floral baskets, and graceful curved arms.
Originally made for early electrification, the sconces no longer have their sockets — new ones can be installed, or they may be used as candle holders for a purely decorative display.
A charming and authentic example of French neoclassical craftsmanship.
