A 1930s Art Deco cheval mirror, signed Octave Dupont, from a cabinetmaker's workshop in Northern France. The piece is distinguished by its superb knotty walnut veneer, with continuous swirling grain from the drawers to the apron, giving it a warm and unique character. The large oval tilting mirror is flanked by two small, symmetrical cabinets, each with two drawers, resting on tapered legs typical of the period. The piece offers ample storage while remaining shallow, ideal for a bedroom or dressing room. A remarkable piece of cabinetmaking, both decorative and functional, for lovers of Art Deco and fine wood. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
