these lamps are so rare that it is almost impossible to find evidence of their origin.

they were only made for this one ferry back in 1963-64.

the style of the lamps screams kay kørbing design, so we went hunting for evidence that could confirm or possibly disprove this.

we found evidence in an old magazine that contained photographs taken by photographer keld helmer-petersen for kay kørbing before the ferry was launched. (wall lamps, table lamps and ceiling lamps were made).

fortunately, we managed to take some photos before we took them down (the previous owner used them as wall lamps, but they can also be used as ceiling lamps).

they measure 14 cm in diameter, 12 cm in depth and weigh 1460-1560 grams each.

they both have a standard e26/e27 socket.
