Josef Franks rare and iconic `The China Ball` in a fantastic condition from the 1980s.
Table lamp 2349 is one of Josef Franks most poetic lighting designs for Svenskt Tenn. Designed around 1940, it pairs a slim, polished brass stem with a generous, perfectly round shade that calls to mind traditional Chinese rice paper lanterns, witch is how it got it´s nickname.
The hand-sewn silk shade in white diffuses the light into a soft, warm glow, while the brass base adds a quiet, modern elegance.
with a height of about 64 cm and a diameter of roughly 29 cm, the lamp is ideally sized for a sideboard, bedside table or writing desk, bringing a gentle, sculptural presence to any room. This piece has an attribution mark,
