Acquired in Rome, this table is almost certainly of Italian manufacture, exemplifying the elegance and material richness of late 20th-century Italian design. The table is a monolithic form, composed of two non-detachable elements: a solid base and a thick square top. Crafted in wood veneered in richly figured burl, it is accented by a solid brass bar that runs continuously along the perimeter of the tabletop, creating a bold yet refined architectural detail.
