A sculptural pair of contemporary table lamps by Swank Lighting, hand-formed in the USA from recycled glass in a rich Garnet Ablaze red. Each base is built up from individually fused glass fragments, creating an organic clustered surface with pronounced depth and light refraction. The result is a bold, jewel-like presence that reads as functional lighting and as a small-scale glass sculpture even when unlit.
Set on clear acrylic bases, the lamps combine raw, tactile materiality with crisp modern structure in the spirit of Organic Modern design. The use of recycled glass highlights the studio’s focus on artisanal production and sustainable material reuse, while the saturated garnet tone and irregular faceting recall molten glass and natural mineral forms.
