The surface displays dramatic natural figuring throughout, framed by a finely moulded edge that enhances the refined outline of the table.

The table is supported on a boldly carved central pedestal base, enriched with acanthus-style carving and terminating in sweeping scroll feet. This substantial pedestal provides excellent stability while allowing generous legroom, making the table both practical and visually impressive.

Well proportioned and highly decorative, this table is suitable for everyday dining or more formal entertaining and represents a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship using one of the most prized cabinet timbers of the period.

Condition
Very good antique condition. The burr walnut top retains a warm colour and attractive patina, with light surface marks and gentle wear consistent with age and use. The pedestal base is solid and sturdy, with crisp carving and no structural concerns.
