It is in good condition.

This large drop-leaf chest stands out for its imposing size, veneered in walnut and decorated with cherry wood frames arranged against the grain, enclosed by maple trim. These trims are also found inside the drop-leaf, while walnut burl panels are only present on the central decoration of the sides. Made of walnut and trimmed with cherry and maple, it is distinguished by the following features:

Front divided by three large drawers
Six small drawers on two levels
Secret compartments integrated inside the drop-leaf
Good condition, maintaining the original details intact.
The bureau dates back to the second half of the 18th century, represents an excellent example of 18th-century wood craftsmanship and comes from a private residence in Ancona. See less
