The lamp is marked with the maker's name swen on the bottom of the base, as well as the gustavsberg studio hand inscription.

the design features aeramic base with a wide cylindrical bottom that tapers smoothly into a narrow, bottle-shaped neck. The textured glazed finish with a speckled surface gives the lamp a refined depth. The colors blend from deep reddish-brown at the base into darker charcoal and bronze tones, and lightening to a soft gray near the neck. The empire shaped shade is a custom design made from an ivory colored métaphores fabric. The finely textured textile provides a refined, neutral contrast while offering a soft and even light distribution.

the lamp is in very good condition, with updated 220v european wiring and a standard e26/e27 bulb fitting.
