Originally created in 1987, this piece illustrates the artist's fascination with exaggerated volumes and rounded proportions, transforming an everyday subject into a monumental presence. The cat is represented in a serene posture with oversized paws and stylized features, favoring fullness and balance over naturalistic detail. Produced using the lost-wax technique, this figurative statue is the reduced version of the famous "El Gato" monument installed in Barcelona.
