the overall set … Read more This unique czechoslovakian floor-to-ceiling mid-century wall unit crafted in the 1960s perfectly blends functionality with timeless elegance. 

the overall set size is h: 254 / w: 234 / d: 40 cm.
the height can be adjusted a few centimeters and can be also extended upon request.

it features one drop-front bar cabinet that can be used as a hidden desk, a dresser with 5 drawers, a spacious cabinet with an inner shelf, two display cabinets with stripe-patterned glass doors, and 6 open shelves.

the bookcase is mounted with pressure between the floor and the ceiling, with a basic height of 254 cm. It was originally designed for east european blocks of flats, where most of new built apartments had almost the same height.

the set consists of:

- a cabinet: h: 45.5 / w: 75 / d: 40 cm,
- a dresser h: 46.5 / w: 75 / d: 40 cm (internal height of drawers: 5 cm),
- a bar cabinet:  h: 46 / w: 75 / d: 25 cm (depth when fully open: 68 cm),
- two display cabinets: h: 62 cm / w: 75 cm / d: 25 cm,
- 6 shelves 25 cm depth,
- 4 solid ash rails 254 cm (adjustable to circa 260 cm).

the unit has been upcycled. We have used creative ways of renovation to add character and a sharp look to it, mainly by using teak veneer. There are still original stickers from czechoslovakia, the country that does not exist anymore. The height can be extended upon request. See less
