Arenzano' table lamp by Ignazio Gardella in brass and glass.
In 1956, the master Ignazio Gardella created the Arenzano lamp. He named it after the Ligurian seaside resort where he designed and built numerous buildings for the Milanese establishment of those years. He did it with a slender body but with a solid handle at the top. It is interrupted by a Murano glass lampshade that allows the diffusion of a soft and elegant light.
Ignazio Gardella was one of the protagonists of Italian architecture. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he founded Azucena with Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Corrado Corradi Dell'Acqua in 1947. A renowned architect, he continued to produce iconic furniture and lighting projects until the 1990s. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
