These chairs are an extraordinary example of Italian design, characterized by a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Tito Agnoli was born in Lima, Peru, in 1931 to an Italian family. He returned to Italy after the war. Trained as a painter (he studied with Sironi), in 1949 he enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture, where he graduated in 1959 and became assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo De Carli. However, in the early 1950s, he embarked on an intense professional career in the field of design. He designed for Arflex, Cinova, Lema, Matteo Grassi, Molteni, Montina, Oluce, Pierantonio Bonacina, Poltrona Frau, Schiffini, and Ycami, among others. Nominated several times for the Compasso d'Oro award, he won the gold medal at Neocon in Chicago in 1986. He died in Milan in February 2012. Some of his pieces are preserved in the permanent collection of the MoMa in New York. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
