The 'Il Colonnato' dining table features four column bases inspired by classical architecture executed in a dramatic Persian red Travertine. The stone veining displays natural variation, with mineral inclusions in vivid rust, and terra-cotta tones. The travertine columns have a beautifully polished/honed finish. The table offers an alternative interpretation to the solid stone top version by having a massive pane of thick glass that showcases the tops of the Persian stone columns. The thick glass pane has rounded corners and a subtle frosted glass edge on the bottom side. The table is unmarked. Each column has a clean, sculptural presence, giving the table a dramatic modern, architectural silhouette. The stone columns and thick, frosted glass top give it a post-modern floating effect. Each column has a diameter of nearly 8 inches and a height of 27.5 inches tall and measures over 28 inches high with the glass top. The columns have a very subtle tapered form crafted by Italian artisans. The table is very heavy and solid and the columns can be positioned at different points closer or further apart.
