Four high-quality heliogravure prints taken from Albert Racinet’s Le Costume Historique, a comparative costume series illustrated by renowned illustrator Daniel Vierge and published in Paris by the Firmin Didot et Cie printing house, circa 1890–1910.
Each print bears a title indicating the subject of the image, a print number in Roman numerals, and the markings “IMP. FIRMIN DIDOT & Cie, PARIS” (the Parisian print house where it was produced) and “Vierge del.,” referencing illustrator Daniel Vierge, who created the drawings.
All four plates are professionally framed and in pristine condition, with no scratches or dents.
